About this Event

Join us for Beacon's Annual Victim Awareness Conference at the Fielder Centre for a day of learning, networking and reflection. This event is all about raising awareness for victims of crime and what they want us to know as professionals in how to respond and support them. We'll have inspiring speakers, informative workshops, and opportunities to connect with others in the community via stalls. Whether you're in a victim advocate role specifically or a Hertfordshire professional or community member who might encounter victims in their work, this conference is for you. You might work in another sector completely, and find you encounter victims in your work, for example health (GP’s), or education (pastoral team) or youth work. Come be a part of something meaningful and help make a difference for Hertfordshire Victims. See you there! Lunch is provided!

Featured on the agenda (TBC as being reconfirmed with new date):

An opening Statement from Jonathon Ash-Edwards (Hertfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner)
