If you’re searching for the best brunch events in Charlotte in 2026 — this is it.
Heritage Social Brunch returns for Year 2 as Charlotte’s premier Black cultural brunch experience, bringing together multicultural professionals, creatives, and entrepreneurs for a curated afternoon of food, music, art, and connection.
This experience sold out in its inaugural year, and seating is intentionally limited to 250 guests. This is not a typical brunch. It’s a seated cultural experience designed with intention—for people who understand the value of being in the right room.
If you’ve been looking for things to do in Charlotte in June 2026 that go beyond the expected—you’ve found it.
WHAT'S ON THE MENU?
The Heritage Social Brunch menu is a chef-curated buffet designed to feel like a cultural journey across the diaspora and beyond.
Guests can expect a flavorful brunch spread featuring made-to-order omelet stations, Louisiana shrimp and grits, Caribbean jerk wings, West African short ribs with jasmine rice, huevos rancheros, Italian chicken pasta salad, sautéed bok choy, fresh chopped Caesar salad, fresh fruit, turkey sausage and bacon, and rum plantain foster French toast.
It is not a basic brunch menu. It is a layered, global, comfort-meets-culture dining experience created to complement the energy of the room.
WHAT WILL YOU EXPERIENCE?
The experience brings together food, live music, art, storytelling, connection, and purpose in one intentionally designed room. Guests can expect a chef-curated brunch buffet by Chef Dawson, live art by internationally acclaimed artist Shiri Achu, storytelling with drumming by Dr. Monique Stubbs, “In Her Key” — a Jill Scott tribute by Mone’t Symone, and J. Wyndal Gordon, Esq., The Warrior Lawyer, guiding the room as emcee.
The afternoon also includes the Whiskey & Bourbon Lounge, a Toast to Our Roots welcome pour, dancing, live music, and Find Your Tribe — a cultural connection experience designed to move guests beyond surface-level conversation.
It is not just brunch.
It is a cultural homecoming, a room worth getting dressed for, and a gathering with purpose.
This is one of the most anticipated Black cultural events in Charlotte—at the intersection of Juneteenth, National Black Music Appreciation Month, and Caribbean American Heritage Month.
If you’re searching for the best brunch in Charlotte NC in 2026, you’re already here.
