Herbal Allies: Spruce Tip Mocktails

Bright, citrusy, and full of forest flavor, spruce tips are a beloved spring ingredient and a refreshing herbal ally. In this hands-on class, we’ll explore how to transform fresh spruce tips into delicious alcohol-free drinks that celebrate the flavors of the season.

Together we’ll learn how to identify and harvest spruce tips responsibly, discuss their traditional uses and nutritional benefits, and experiment with simple techniques for infusing their unique flavor into syrups and sparkling mocktails. Participants will taste a variety of spruce tip preparations and craft their own refreshing drink.
