About this Event

This gathering is an ode to the women who walk alone yet carry entire worlds within them. Women who crossed oceans to Canada with nothing but hope, resilience, and the quiet courage to begin again. It celebrates the single woman who charts her own direction without a map or safety net, navigating careers, finances, homes, health, and heart from a place shaped by both necessity and fierce determination. Despite myths of having “no responsibilities,” she often stands as not only her own, but sometimes even her family’s—provider, protector, and anchor.

Here, we pause together.
We listen.
We witness.
We celebrate.

In this space, we acknowledge the silent pressures she carries: societal expectations, comparisons she never asked for, the fatigue of holding every part of life alone, and the fear of falling behind in a world built for families and partnerships. And yet the journey of a single woman is not defined by what she lacks, but by what she creates. Through the spirit of Give & Gain, we exchange wisdom for courage, burdens for light, and struggles for solidarity. We give from our stories, and we gain from each other’s strength.

This event is a sanctuary for the woman who feels everything, carries everything, and still rises like a phoenix. A place where independence is honoured, fatigue is understood, and each story becomes a guiding light for someone else’s path.

Join us in celebrating stories that reach beyond borders, resilience born in quiet solitude, and the fierce brilliance of single women who give strength, gain courage, and burn ever brighter.
