HMbD-festivaali tulee jälleen ja rytinällä!
Viidettä kertaa järjestettävä Helsinki Must be Destroyed eli HMbD tulee jälleen, ja line-up on täynnä huippukovia bändejä! Tällä kertaa festivaali järjestetään kaksipäiväisenä pe 2.2.2024 ja la 3.2.2024 Helsingin keskustan On the Rocksissa!

Festivaalin perjantain pääesiintyjänä on tamperelainen hardcore-legenda RIISTETYT ja lauantain pääesiintyjänä norjalainen toilet rock/punk -yhtye CHEMTRAILS OSLO!
Kyseessä on Chemtrails Oslon ensiesiintyminen Suomessa ja luvassa on takuuvarmaa viihtymistä, sillä bändin mielestä norjalainen rock on ollut pitkään hiljaa! The Good The Bad and The Zugly ovat vieneet genren "scandi rock" pidemmälle, mutta se keksittiin jo 90-luvulla The Hellacoptersin toimesta ja Turbonegro loi Deathpunkin 30 vuotta sitten. Eteläisestä norjasta tuleva ja genrerajat rikkova Chemtrails Oslo on tehnyt jotain sellaista, mitä kukaan muu norjalainen artisti ei ole tehnyt tällä vuosituhannella onnistuneesti - luonut kaksi täysin erilaista ja uutta rockmusiikin tyyliä.
Bändin ensimmäisen albumin nimi "4Chan-MethRock" kuvasi tätä uutta innovatiivista genreä ja uusimmalla albumillaan "LGBT-ADHD-MDMA" Vågsbygdin nuoret pojat tuovat tällä kertaa "Toilet Rockin" monien iloksi ja vihaksi. Maailma on nyt Chemtrails Oslon jalkojen juurella.

HMbD festival is coming again with a bang!
The fifth Helsinki Must be Destroyed, AKA HMbD -festival will once again have a line-up of super rad bands! This time the festival will take place over two days on Friday the 2nd of February and Saturday 3rd of February 2024 at On the Rocks in the center of Helsinki!
On Friday, the festival is headlined by Tampere hardcore legends RIISTETYT.
Saturday's headliner is the Norwegian toilet rock/punk band CHEMTRAILS OSLO!
This is the Norwegian band's first appearance in Finland and a good time is guaranteed: in their opinion Norwegian rock has been silent for a long time!
While The Good The Bad and The Zugly have taken the genre “scandi rock” further, it was invented in the nineties by The Hellacopters and Deathpunk was created by Turbonegro already 30 years ago. Now the genre-crossing southern gang of Chemtrails Oslo has managed the feat that no Norwegian artist has done this millennium - the have created two completely different new styles within rock.
The title of the band's first album "4Chan-MethRock" also described an innovative new genre and with their latest album "LGBT-ADHD-MDMA", the four young lads from Vågsbygd have managed to create "Toilet Rock" to the delight and anger of many. The world is now at Chemtrails Oslo's feet.

Friday’s headliner RIISTETYT will continue the traditions of the festival coming from the iconic Suomi HC canon. Founded in Tampere in 1981, the hardcore legend is still actively playing gigs after 42 years and is in a tight live condition!

In addition to Chemtrails Oslo and Riistetyt, a Roihuvuori decadent alcoholics Mönni, Kotka's hardcore/metal band Heathen Hearts, Helsinki's rock and glitter lovers Likaiset Pikkarit, action rock bands Rokets and Bad Dog and crossover band The Leftovers, Espoo's groove metal orchestra Supreme Court and Turku's punk rock band Persoonallisuushäiriö will perform at the festival.

You can party party all night long on both nights with the same ticket! There is a disco after the gigs, as Turbo DJ’s play danceable music from the worlds of punk, eurodance, 80’s disco, rock and industrial. If you only come to the disco, ticket sales at the door start at 23.30 and tickets cost 6 €, including the cloakroom (3,50 €).
