About this Event

Calling all helpers!

Do you work in a helping profession?
Or perhaps you're educating yourself to become a helper?
Wouldn't it be great to meet other people with similar goals and dreams?
Certainly we can make a bigger difference in the world if we come together!

Service to others, not service to self! :)

Come and join us to make meaningful connections with new friends.
Each person will be expected to order and pay for her own meal/coffee.
Please read our group guidelines below before attending for your 1st time. If you can't make it, pls change your rsvp so someone else can join us.

If you really enjoy and value these events and want to see more of them, please consider making a donation to help cover meetup costs and organizing time. Send your donation with love by PayPal or e-transfer to [email protected]

If you want to announce it to your networks, I'd love you to share the link! Pls email me to let me know where you're announcing it so we don't double post it.

Do you have a preferable location? Are there any activities that you'd like to experience? I'm also inviting participants to host in nearby cities. If you'd like to plan and run the event closer to you, pls reach out to me.

If you have any questions or need help finding our table call me, Stephanie at 236.869.2559 (cell).

I'm looking forward to meeting you! :)

Group Guidelines
Thank you for taking the time to read our guidelines! This group is about creating meaningful friendships! Here are some guidelines to make sure that everyone has a great experience at our get-togethers.

Business: This is an event for making friends. It's not for sales and promoting to customers. It's ok to tell people what you do if it comes up in introductions, but pls keep it brief and redirect the conversation back to getting know each other.

Confidentiality: We ask that people don't share private things that are discussed in the group with others. That will help keep it a safe space free to talk personally.

Identities: Let's avoid making comments that could offend others eg about age, body image/size, sexual orientation, race, culture, spirituality, religion, mental health etc. Let's make sure everyone feels safe.

Dating: The purpose if our group is to make friends. Please don't reach out to others for dating and pls avoid any sexual comments.

Listening: Ask questions to get to know other people. Try to encourage everyone to share and connect.

Tables: If there are two tables and we can't get seated at one, pls join the table with the lower number of people.

Late/Absence: Pls text in advance if you're not coming as events require a minimum of 4 people to run. Pls also text if you're coming late. Sometimes we will have reservations so it is good to know attendance.

Feedback: Open communication is always encouraged. I welcome your feedback! Let's create a warm and safe space. :)
