Fortnightly Women’s Art Group at Martha & Mary’s
This is a relaxed, friendly art group for women, held fortnightly in the welcoming space of Martha & Mary’s café on Chillingham Road.
Each session offers gentle creative guidance with a mix of art materials and inspiration provided. The media and themes will change over time, so you might find yourself drawing, printing, collaging, painting, or simply experimenting and playing. You are also very welcome to bring along any art or craft project you are already working on.
The focus is on creativity, connection, and taking a little time for yourself. There is no pressure to be “good at art” and no prior experience is needed. You can chat, work quietly, try something new, or just enjoy being in a creative space with other women.
This is a pay what you can session, so you can contribute at a level that feels comfortable for you. A suggested contribution may be shared on the day, but everyone is welcome regardless of what they can pay.
