About this Event
Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) have played a key role in driving innovations that have significantly advanced many areas of healthcare. To build on this momentum and continue to empower founders from these institutions, the American Heart Association and MATTER collaborated to launch the inaugural Heart of Innovation HBCU Challenge — a four-week training and grant opportunity designed to support HBCU students and alumni with novel solutions that improve social drivers of health, promote cardiovascular wellness and promote healthier environments.
Join the and MATTER for the final showcase featuring an inspiring keynote address, followed by presentations from innovative startups sharing their brand stories and solutions to a panel of industry experts for a chance at a $10,000 grant.
