Ashley Velting, MN, NP is a Nurse Practitioner with over 16 years of experience in Cardiac Sciences and a strong focus on women’s cardiovascular health. She practices at the Women’s Cardiovascular Health Clinic at South Health Campus, where she provides individualized, prevention-focused care for women with cardiovascular conditions, including microvascular disease and arrhythmias.


Ashley began her career in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Rocky View Hospital and later earned her Master of Nursing and Nurse Practitioner certification from the University of Calgary. She has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner for more than 10 years and is passionate about patient education, advocacy, and delivering holistic, personalized care.


Dr. Codie Rouleau is a Clinical Psychologist at TotalCardiology Rehabilitation and Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Calgary. She is an established clinician-scientist in cardiovascular health psychology with 44 published peer-reviewed manuscripts focused on understanding the role of psychological factors and behavioural interventions in cardiac rehabilitation and chronic disease management. She routinely serves in national leadership roles, including former Chair of the Canadian Association of Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation conference, and current Executive Member of the Canadian Psychological Association (CPA) Health Psychology and Behavioural Medicine Section and the Canadian Network for Health Behaviour Change and Promotion. Dr. Rouleau’s scholarly excellence has been recognized through numerous awards including the CPA Certificate of Academic Excellence, the American Psychosomatic Society Young Scholar Award, and a CIHR Doctoral Award. She also runs a small private psychology practice in Calgary.


Dr. Emel Celiker Guler is a Cardiologist and board-certified Cardiac Imaging Specialist with expertise in advanced cardiovascular imaging techniques. She earned her MD from Istanbul University Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty and completed her cardiology residency at Dr. Siyami Ersek Cardiovascular Surgery Training and Research Hospital. She further specialized in Advanced Cardiac Imaging through a fellowship at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute, achieving Level III certification in Cardiac MRI, Cardiac CT, Cardiac PET, and Nuclear Cardiology. Her work focuses on enhancing the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease using myocardial blood flow imaging.


Kelly Sullivan, is a registered dietitian with the Women’s Cardiovascular Health Clinic, specializing in nutrition and lifestyle strategies that support women’s heart health through midlife and beyond. She is passionate about helping women feel strong, confident, and energized through sustainable movement and nourishing, enjoyable food.

Outside of work, Kelly truly lives to move—you’ll find her at the gym, hiking, or exploring her neighborhood. As she embraces her post-menopause years, she is excited to model and share a balanced, joyful approach to health rooted in movement, delicious food, and plenty of laughter.
