About the Practice
Disconnect from the noise and journey inward at our retreat, nestled deep in the forest near Sundre. This retreat combines traditional Vipassana meditation with Hatha Yoga and Pranayama to help you restore emotional balance and mental clarity.
Our curriculum focuses on Anapanasati (mindful breathing) and the observation of physical sensations. By maintaining noble silence, you create the necessary space to quiet the mind and deepen your personal transformation.
Retreat Details
- Location: A peaceful wooded setting near Sundre (approximately 1.5 hours from Calgary)
- Dates: May 7–10
Daily Rhythm
- Morning: Tibetan prostrations, sunrise meditation, and energizing Hatha Yoga.
- Midday: Nutritious vegetarian meals and mindful nature walks by the lake.
- Afternoon: Harmonizing Pranayama, sound healing, personal reflection, and journaling.
- Evening: Walking meditation, communal OM chanting, and restorative Shavasana.
Practical Information
Meals: Two wholesome vegetarian meals daily, with fruit snacks provided.
Transportation: Optional organized transfer available from Calgary and Edmonton.
