About this Event
Do you numb your feelings? Do you isolate yourself by processing emotions alone in private? Or have you been told that your feelings are “too much”? Do your feelings explode into uncontrollable outbursts?
Do you want more intimacy in your relationships? Do you want to learn to harness the energy and information of your feelings?
You are invited to Heart Gym. Heart Gym is a space to feel your feelings with other people.
We’ll share a few simple tools for feeling in the moment and then we will practice.
You’ll practice noticing what’s happening inside you right now, naming it, and expressing it. You’ll also practice holding space for someone else’s feelings without fixing, advising, or managing them.
Heart Gym is powered by Possibility Management, held in the context of Radical Responsibility. You are at source, and you can choose your next step.
Come let your heart speak.
Logistics: Arrival 2:45-3pm. Doors close at 3pm. Event runs 3-5pm.
FACILITATOR BIOs:
Chris Cahoon
When I was young, I tried a backflip and face-planted, bruising my nose and forehead. I learned early that growth looks like doing something scary, then learning and going again.
After obtaining a degree in Rhetoric, teaching dance-martial arts on 3 continents, and crunching numbers on Wall Street, I now hold space for people to feel their feelings.
My stand is for human beings to feel, heal and create together. I open doors for people to experience themselves in ways they didn’t think was possible. I am fiercely on your team for you to crackle with aliveness and for us to collectively unlock our potential as human beings.
Rachel Clark is a facilitator, community organizer, and relational practitioner who creates spaces where people reconnect with their bodies, feelings, and each other. Her work weaves together movement, emotional intelligence, and conscious intimacy.
