Art as Healing
A Creative Gathering for Women is a collaborative event presented by and bringing together women for a day of creative expression, emotional healing, and community connection.
DINAH Mission fosters healing, empowerment, and safe spaces for women and girls, especially within Black communities, through awareness, supportive conversation, and opportunities for emotional growth. DESTA supports Black youth and community members with holistic programs focused on education, employability, entrepreneurship, and well‑being, empowering individuals to overcome barriers and thrive.
This in‑person gathering invites you to explore art as a powerful tool for self‑expression, reflection, and healing. Through guided creative activities and meaningful facilitated conversations, participants will have the opportunity to reconnect with self, share stories, and build supportive connections with others.
Whether you are an experienced artist or simply enjoy creative exploration, this event provides a welcoming and uplifting space for women to foster resilience, celebrate creativity, and grow together in community.
