About this Event
In times like these, when the world can feel chaotic and filled with fear, this meditative drum circle offers a place to release tension, soften the nervous system, and remember our connection—to ourselves, to one another, and to the Earth. Through collective presence and mindful rhythm, we hold space for calm and peace to ripple outward to every living being on this planet.
What to Expect As you arrive, you will be invited to write on a small piece of paper anything you would like the circle to send positive energy toward. Please find a seat or cushion and enter the space quietly, allowing your mind, body, and soul to settle into calmness. This quiet arrival helps everyone ground and fully arrive before the drumming begins. We will begin with a brief welcome from Leslie Kolovich, followed by a grounding meditation with the sound of OM.
What to Bring Please bring your own drum if you have one; we may have a few available to share. You are also welcome to bring a rattle, rain stick, or any instrument that creates a gentle, joyful sound to share with the circle. If you have a cushion you prefer to sit on, please feel free to bring that as well.
All skill levels are welcome. No prior drumming or meditation experience is needed.
Facilitator: Leslie Kolovich is a Reiki Master and the founder of The Healing Drum Circle, which she began in her home in Florida in 2015. What started as a small, intimate gathering grew into a monthly offering that continued until the onset of COVID.
Leslie has since relocated to the Atlanta area to be closer to her two daughters and continues to share her passion for healing through rhythm, intention, and community. Her path has included profound experiences with a First Nations Keeper of the Drum in British Columbia, Canada, as well as collaborative work with the Muscogee Nation of Florida on the project Paddle for the Planet.
At the heart of Leslie’s work is the sacred connection between the human heartbeat and the sound of the drum—a powerful resonance she believes supports healing for individuals, communities, and the Earth itself.
Mission Statement: Healing Hands Reiki, Inc. empowers individuals to participate in their own healing process by integrating the practice of Reiki into health care systems and community-based organizations; and fosters a caring and supportive wellness community.

Through our classes and community outreach programs, we teach and support Reiki, as a complementary holistic practice that facilitates health, well-being, balance, and harmonious living.
The Reiki self-treatment and Reiki treatment of others supports individuals in establishing and maintaining a state of well-being through holistic practices, and through recognizing the connection of Mind, Body, Emotion and Spirit.
Attention is focused on the importance of balance and alignment within the human energy system, the effectiveness of living life consciously, and the influence of Natural Laws.

By attending this class, you agree to the following:
Participating in the guided yoga or meditation practice/workshop offered by any of the instructors (or associates) at HEALING HANDS REIKI AND SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT INC., during which you will receive information about practicing yoga and meditation. You accept the responsibility to assess the appropriateness of your participation throughout this practice and any other participation at this yoga/meditation center.
You recognize that the practice of yoga or meditation requires physical relaxation AS WELL AS exertion, which may be both relaxing AND strenuous and can cause beneficial physical (or other) changes and increased vitality AS WELL AS injury and unanticipated physical (or other) challenges.
In alignment with the teachings of the yogic/ meditation tradition, you recognize that the quality of self-awareness (including physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual) you bring to my yoga or meditation experience is central to how your experience unfolds, evolves, and is received and evaluated by you.
You understand that it is your responsibility to consult with a qualified health authority prior to and regarding your participation in the yoga or meditation practice/workshop. You represent and warrant that you are adequately fit, and of sound ability, to take responsibility for your choice to participate in, and remain aware of, how you engage to honor and support yourself in the most appropriate level for your unique physical and other conditions.
You assume full responsibility for any benefits, miracles, inspiration, vitality, and success AS WELL AS risks, injuries or challenges, known or unknown, which you might incur as a result of participating in the program. You also waive any claim/credit you may have against/for the instructor, his/her associates, or anyone you may assess as related to your experience with the practice /class/workshop, for these benefits, miracles, inspiration, vitality, and success, AS WELL AS ,injury or challenges that you may sustain as a result of participating in the program.
You acknowledge that the instructor extends the invitation to practice yoga and meditation in the presence of her guidance out of a sincere, heart- felt interest in facilitating others in receiving the life-affirming and empowering benefits these practices can awaken in you, and retains the right to withdraw this invitation, at any time, if your presence/participation is deemed contradicative to the class participants, or anyone else involved, in any way.
You, your heirs or legal representatives, forever release, waive, and discharge the instructor and his/her associates for any benefits that may come from their skillful and benevolent presence OR any negligence or other acts. You have read the above photo and video disclaimer, and waiver of liability, and fully understand its contents. If you feel you do not understand its contents, you affirm that you have clarified any misunderstanding (with the instructor) prior to this class. You accept and state that this waiver is applicable to any guided yoga or meditation practice or workshop you engage in with the instructors, at this location, from this day forward. In the event of a dispute between the Instructor and the Yoga/Meditation Class Participant concerning the interpretation of any provision of this agreement, such matter or matters in dispute shall be finally settled:
a. by three arbitrators, one appointed by each Party, and the third, who shall be the chairman, selected by the two appointed arbitrators.
b. the language of the arbitration shall be English; and
c. the place of the arbitration shall be an agreed upon location other than “Ashtanga Yoga Atlanta”, 27 Waddell St NE, Suite A, Atlanta, GA 30307
