Heal Within - Reclaim Your Power - Your Voice Matters - a SAAM Event

Heal Within - Your Voice Matters is an event dedicated to raising awareness about sexual assault. Join us have worship service as Grace Lutheran Church as opened their doors to the community for those who have yet to find their voice. This will serve as an empowering experience filled with education, support, and healing. This in-person event aims to create a safe space for survivors to come together, share their stories, and reclaim their strength. Together, we can break the silence and stand in solidarity against sexual violence. Let's heal within, reclaim our power because our voices matter!

April is Sexual Assault & Child Abuse Awareness Month.

Stats state that 1 - 4 women have been sexually assaulted or abused. Many have been violated as a child and have been left to navigate through life as an unhealed adult.

Following worship join Sexual Child Abuse Survivor turned Advocate, Award winning filmmaker Carolyn Wilson along with other special guest for a film screening of The Good Life followed by a candid discussion and Q&A on how to Heal Within.

This story follows one women's journey of being molested that laid the foundation for a life of further trauma, abuse, depression and nonexistence.
