Join us for HCAT Industry Night, an annual networking event hosted by the SUNY Schenectady School of Hotel, Culinary Arts and Tourism (HCAT). This evening brings together hospitality and foodservice professionals, alumni, students, faculty, and community partners for a relaxed, welcoming night of connection.
Held following our HCAT Advisory Committee meeting, Industry Night reflects the collaborative spirit that helps guide our programs. Advisory members, industry leaders, alumni, employers, and current students all come together to share ideas, build relationships, and support the future of hospitality.
This event is also a live, collaborative classroom experience. The menu of assorted small bites is produced by students in our Quantitative Foods course, while hospitality and service are led by our Banquet Management students. By attending, guests are directly supporting student learning - providing real-world experience in planning, execution, service, and professional engagement.
At HCAT Industry Night, expect easy conversation, familiar faces, new connections, and a comfortable, professional setting where guests can drop in after work and feel at home.
