Welcome to the Hayle Repair Cafe! Join us at the Hayle Day Care Centre for a fun-filled day of repairing and reusing. Bring your broken items - whether it's a toaster that won't toast or a favorite sweater with a hole - and our team of skilled volunteers will help you fix them up. It's a great way to learn new skills, meet new people, and reduce waste. Let's work together to give your belongings a second chance! See you there!
It's 'Scoop the Poop' Week - raising awareness of the importance of collecting your dogs' poo. More details to follow.
Volunteer repairers are ready to look at bicycles, small electrical items and clothing. If your bike repair needs spare parts you will be asked to cover the costs. We also have an ebike specialist. Clothing repairs will be done by hand.
FREE hot drinks, biscuits and cake will be available. Donations are always welcome to cover room hire. Everyone is welcome - the repair cafe is also about repairing ourselves! 😉
