Calling all owlets ages 5 to 12! Grab the wise old owl of your choosing and swoop down to ArtYard for a crafty morning devoted to owl puppet-making in the leadup to The Hatch on May 17.
Youngsters and their grandparent, parent, or adult caretaker will work together to craft their own unique winged owl puppets in our ArtYard Workshop. Weather permitting, we will head outside for a mini (accessible) trailwalk and collect twigs, leaves, and other natural materials to adorn our creations. Our completed owl puppets will celebrate their fledgling flight outdoors in the ArtYard Courtyard where hooting, hopping, and swooping are encouraged.
Workshop Fee: $10 for kids
Suggested age range: Children 5 to 12 with one adult collaborator
When registering, please include the age of children so we can anticipate needs for this workshop!
