Ami keresésnek indult az egykori börtöntárs után, váratlan, északtól délre tartó úthoz vezetett Hasszán, a helyi idegenvezető társaságában, akinek későbbi sorsa ismeretlen marad. Az emlékezetről, a veszteségről és az idő múlásáról szóló filmes reflexió, amely megörökíti a múltbeli Gázát és azokat az életeket, amelyeket azóta elsodort a történelem vihara.

🔥Re:Verzió program continues!
The fifth film in the Re:Verzió screening series is a cinematic reflection on memory, loss, and the passage of time in what was once Gaza. A tribute to the people who once lived there and to a landscape that has since been devastated. The film received the Special Mention in the Best International Documentary category at the 22nd Verzió International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival.

Three MiniDV tapes of life in Gaza from 2001 were recently rediscovered. What started as a search for a former prison mate from 1989 led to an unexpected road trip from the north to the south of Gaza with Hasan, a local guide whose fate remains unknown. A cinematic reflection on memory, loss, and the passage of time, capturing a Gaza of the past and lives that may never be found again.
