Everyone is welcome:The Walk: The walk is about 5 miles in length, heading for the high western rim of Nidderdale in the shadow of the radio mast atop Guise Cliff before turning for home by the banks of the Nidd.
Meeting Time and Place: Meet at 10:15 for a 10.30 start in Dacre Banks. There is a handy layby on the main road (B6451) by Holy Trinity church. https://maps.app.goo.gl/pL4EfALqtYpPRpEn9 If the layby is full then there is parking just beyond on the grass verge towards Summerbridge. Unfortunately no public transport
Clothing: The terrain may be muddy and uneven in parts so appropriate footwear will be needed. Given the unpredictable weather, please bring/wear suitable clothing /layers.
Food & drink: Bring a packed lunch unless you would like to have lunch following the walk at the Wellington Inn Main St, Darley, Harrogate HG3 2QQ which is 1.5 miles down the B6451 from the starting point – please let David know.
