About this Event
It's that time of year again, and our Atlanta Chapter will be spreading love in a very special way on Saturday, November 15th, at the Atlanta Public School Adult Education Center. While the holidays are a warm and loving time of year, we realize that it can also be a tough time for those without shelter and food. With that in mind, Hashtag Lunch Bag Atlanta is dedicating our November service event to our neighbors who can use some extra love and resources, and we’d love for you to join us!
We will be hosting our 5th Annual Living Through Giving Thanksgiving Block Party that will provide our neighbors without homes and friends who can use a helping hand the following giveaways:
- Chef-prepared hot meals inside APS Adult Education Center
- Haircuts and access to showers
- Toiletry bags
- Clothing, shoes, jackets, and blankets
- Nonperishable food items

If you would like to make a donation to go into the toiletry bags that will be given to our neighbors without homes or food items for our neighbors who can use a helping hand, feel free to bring those items to the service event, order from our Amazon wishlist , or make a monetary donation and we’ll do the shopping for you! ($hashtaglunchbagatl). If ordering on Amazon, please be sure the items will deliver to us by Tuesday, November 11th.
There will be free parking in the lot beside the venue on the day of the event.
We will have a live DJ providing the jams and a photographer/videographer to capture the cool moments, so be sure to bring your smile!
