Join us for a special Harvest Fundraising Brunch, as we give thanks for the blessings of this year and to raise funds for continued growth.
About this Event

Join us on Saturday, November 16, from 10 am - 1 pm, for Holding Space’s Harvest Fundraising Brunch! As a nonprofit organization, our mission is to improve the emotional health and well-being of people of African descent by providing a wide range of services that are holistic, culturally competent, trauma-informed, and strength-based. Our services include holistic and transformational healing retreats, employer-based wellness sessions, psychotherapy, and many donation based community offerings. We are excited to share that Holding Space was selected by Sierra Health Foundation and Sacramento County Behavioral Health as the Community Responsiveness Wellness Program (CRWP) partner to provide 1,200 free psychotherapy sessions to eligible members of Sacramento’s Black community. With a goal of $20,000, this fundraising event will help support this initiative and allow us to continue fostering safe, culturally-affirming spaces for healing and growth.

This inclusive gathering is open to all and celebrates gratitude while raising essential funds to support our participation in the Community Responsiveness Wellness Program (CRWP). We invite everyone who believes in our mission—retreat attendees, donors, community partners—to join us in reflecting on the impact we’ve created together and to help us keep moving forward. Your generosity will fund essential program costs, including office space and practitioner support, allowing us to expand our reach and deepen our impact in the community. Funds raised will also support continuation of our community-based daylong healing retreats.
