Harrowist represents raw energy and uncompromising hardcore punk with a strong affinity for metal, never losing the roots of the DIY spirit. Catchy, hard riffs and gripping choruses, as well as powerful and creative drum grooves, often breaking conventional song structures.The lyrics address the misguided motives and actions of our species, aiming to provoke reflection on one's own ways of thinking. The mix of raw aggression combined with atmospheric character can be best described as blackened hardcore punk, latest to be heard on the 2025 EP "Plague Continuum".

Lyrically, the band dives into political and societal themes, confronting decay, oppression and resignation.
