About this Event
We've been wanting to host Dr. Katrina Hazzard-Donald for some time. She and I met in the Apple store and just started chatting before either of us knew who the other was. She an author of a book I had featured on the bookshop shelves--living just up the street from one another. When we figured it out...well we both knew. It was inevitable that we co-host this event together.
Join us for a very intimate convening of just a few word-workers from playwrights to poets, screenwriters to novelists, thinkers and philosophers, essayists to enthusiasts at Harriett’s Bookshop.
Between pours, Dr. Katrina Hazzard-Donald will take us into the depths of blues culture and imagination, the evening will be an eclectic mix of drinking, making, doing, but most importantly --LISTENING as we sip a curated selection of teas chosen to complement everything.
Must be on time!
Doors will close at 7:45 pm.
You are strongly encouraged to take a ride share. Parking in Fishtown is a whole thing
Books and teas included in your ticket.
