Gigging since the age of 12, Harriet Rose’s music and performances have been highly acclaimed everywhere and she is well known for her ability to draw the audience in and have them hang onto every word. The multi-instrumentalist prides herself on offering a unique Indie/Americana sound with a blend of powerhouse vocals and catchy guitar hooks.
Harriet is currently in the studio recording with Ed Cosens (Reverend And The Makers) and has recently supported Peter Doherty (The Libertines), Andrew Cushin, Jon McClure, The Lottery Winners and The Sherlocks.
She describes her own music as “a mix of my dads youth and a mine. I was completely influenced until my mid-teens with tunes from The Smiths, Fairground Attraction, Beautiful South - anything my dad grew up on really. When I write, there's definitely a blend of those older vocals with the contemporary indie melodies which I listened to through choice..."
Support comes from Arliston and Emma Flower and the Wall Flowers
Arliston are poised to become the UK’s unofficial ambassadors of gloom – self-described “sad song specialists”. Their music is concerned with that particularly fraught time of life – the late twenties and early thirties – and all of the confusion that accompanies it. Yet the music itself is far from chaotic. Instead, it is steeped in an inky black pool of sparse but sprawling Americana; minimalist pianos are paired with gloopy synths and singer Jack Ratcliffe’s striking, morose baritone.
Elevating the intimate lyrics and bewitching tone of Emma's voice, the Wallflowers breathe life into her writing and performance. Drawing upon influences of poetic lyricism from singer-songwriters Matilda Mann, Phoebe Bridges and Holly Humberstone, the band present this voice into a Fleetwood Mac inspired sound, captivating audiences with their storytelling and addictive melodies. Since forming in September of 2023, the band have taken iconic Manchester venues such as Band on the Wall and Night & Day Cafe.
