About Harold Rosenbaum

Dr. Harold Rosenbaum is recognized among the premier interpreters of classic and modern choral music. He has commissioned music from 120 composers and has conducted well over 600 world premieres. He has collaborated with many of the greatest composers of the 20th and 21st centuries including John Corigliano, Thea Musgrave, David Lang, and Ellen Taafe Zwilich, and was the conductor for Peter Schickele in many P.D.Q. Bach concerts.

Harold is a frequent host of Sounds Choral, a radio program on WWFM, The Classical Network, and is editor of his signature choral music series for G. Schirmer Publications. His principal ensemble, the New York Virtuoso Singers, has performed with many orchestras including the NY Philharmonic and the Juilliard Orchestra as well as on television and in major venues around the world.
