About this Event

Session Information

Curious about how AI can actually help in your everyday work and learning? This course shows you effective and responsible hands-on ways to use chatbots for everyday tasks like finding information, generating ideas, and improving your writing.


Audience Level:

This session is designed for absolute beginners with no previous experience using chatbots.


Advanced requirements/set up:

It is recommended you bring your own laptop or other device with a web browser.


Intended Learning Outcomes
  • Understand what LLMs are and their key capabilities and limitations
  • Apply responsible practices when using AI tools
  • Craft effective prompts that enhance rather than replace critical thinking
  • Navigate ethical considerations including bias, privacy, and environmental impact
