About this Event

This is an invitation to nourish yourself with gentle, supported yoga poses and the healing vibrations of sound. This experience is designed to help you release tension, quiet the noise of uncertainty, and embrace self-care as a necessary practice. Come rest, restore, and realign with a sense of peace that you can carry beyond the mat.
Meet Your Guides:
Stacey Lea Flanagan will be leading the restorative yoga, a gentle form of yoga that encourages physical, mental and emotional relaxation. Stacey's personal yoga practice is rooted in finding balance and strength in a chaotic world. She spends her days helping others, as the Jersey City Director of Health and Human Services, so Yoga is a way for her to help herself. She has 30 years' experience in nonprofit management and government administration focusing on health, wellness, and poverty alleviation. Stacey completed her 200 Hour RYT from Flor Yoga in 2017 and prenatal certification in 2018. In 2019, Stacey expanded her yoga studies with the Nalanda Institute for Contemplative Science on breathing & restorative techniques, Yin Training from Sattva, and Trauma Informed Yoga training with BodyWise Foundation.
