Somatic movement and exercise classes use a series of gentle movements that help to:

• improve posture
• foster balance in the nervous system
• improve fluidity of movement
• harmonize the mind + body connection
• and allow you to feel more energetic

These gentle movements work with your nervous system to create ease of movement, reduce tension and stress and assist in developing a more conscious awareness of our patterns.
Never heard of somatics? No problem! Most haven’t but don’t let that make you feel like you can’t do this. These movements are very gentle and very easy to learn.
I have taught these movements to new moms, bodybuilders, office workers, truck drivers, construction workers, athletes, etc. Some comments afterwards:
• I feel more balanced
• I feel so much more relaxed
• I can walk up stairs without pain now
• the pain in my hip is gone
• whoa! (my fave response, and exactly how I feel after my practice✌️)
