About this Event
National Music Centre’s CEO, Andrew Mosker, explores the vibrant tapestry of Calgary's musical heritage. Influential people, festivals, and places have shaped Calgary’s and the region’s sonic identity. From Indigenous creators to pioneering artists who settled here, along with influential educators, music industry leaders, and impresarios, we delve into the stories of these musical architects. Their contributions have enriched Calgary’s cultural scene and resonated beyond the city’s borders, creating a lasting legacy on its music ecosystem.
Presented in Partnership with Chinook Country Historical Society, a Chapter of the Historical Society of Alberta.
