About this Event
The oil industry has been instrumental in the growth of Alberta and in creation of wealth, both public and private. Walt DeBoni will highlight several individuals who contributed to the growth of the industry, benefited from its wealth creation, and shared their time, talent, and treasure for the benefit of the community.
Presented in Partnership with Chinook Country Historical Society, a Chapter of the Historical Society of Alberta. CCHS is dedicated to promoting a greater understanding of Canadian and Alberta history for people of all ages. Organized in 1958 and incorporated in 1993, CCHS covers the region from Olds to Nanton and from the BC border to the Saskatchewan border.
