Jack Droppers live in Grand Rapids! Join us for a concert, silent auction, and photography exhibit to support Partners Relief & Development. This year, we’ll gather on the heels of World Refugee Day to honor the resilience of those displaced by war and to fuel free, full lives for kids caught in the crosshairs of conflict. Visit partners.ngo to learn more.
We are so excited to bring Harmonies for Humanity to Grand Rapids for the very first time. Originally started in California, this event brings together artists for an evening of music, connection, and love-in-action. We believe that when we come together, we can lift those around us and bring hope to the most complex conflict zones, places like Lebanon, Syria, and Myanmar, where millions are currently seeking safety and a place to call home.
The Music
We are thrilled to announce that Jack Droppers and the Best Intentions will be headlining. Self-described as an “Indie Americana Folk Garage Dad rock band,” we can confirm that their song, “My Dog Bruce,” will bring tears to your eyes. Jack brings a passion that reflects the collective spirit of care we see in the refugee communities we walk alongside every day.
The Stories
Don’t miss the debut of Blood on the Leaves, a photography exhibit captured and curated by Partners’ photographer, Scott Brindle. This series uses a digitalized aerochrome to visually capture the cost of conflict to families in Myanmar. In honor of World Refugee Day, these images serve as a witness to the courage of those forced to flee and the beauty that remains.
The Silent Auction
Our silent auction will feature exclusive local experiences and one-of-a-kind pieces that tell a story. Every bid is an act of hospitality, directly funding emergency relief and sustainable development for families finding a way forward after losing everything.
The Mission
At Partners, we believe in free, full lives for children affected by conflict and oppression. Every ticket and every bid helps us keep showing up with love in the hard-to-reach places.
Join us as we stand with displaced families and ensure that conflict does not have the final say in a child's life.
