Join Michigan Atheists at Grand Rapids Pride 2026! We’ll be hosting a tabling booth all day—stop by, meet like-minded people, and celebrate freedom, identity, and community in a welcoming, inclusive space. At our booth:
• De-Baptisms – A symbolic way to reclaim your identity
• Ask An Atheist – Open, respectful conversations about belief, nonbelief, and everything in between
• Counter-Protesting the Religious Right – Standing up for equality, dignity, and secular values
• Podcasting - various atheist podcasters will be recording special episodes
The First Amendment is a critical safeguard against religious interference in our lives and our laws. It ensures that no one is subjected to religious control, coercion, or discrimination—especially in matters of identity, autonomy, and equal rights. For the LGBTQ+ community, this protection is essential. Atheism and secular advocacy push back against harmful doctrines that have historically been used to justify exclusion and inequality, reinforcing the principle that public policy and civil rights must remain free from religious influence.
This is a two day event
• Saturday 12pm - 10pm
• Sunday 12pm - 8pm
We need volunteers!
Volunteering is open to any current Michigan Atheists member. Help us staff the booth, engage with attendees, and support our outreach efforts. You can volunteer for a few hours or stay the whole day—whatever works for you. Every bit of help makes a difference, and it’s a great way to meet people and be part of something meaningful.
