Founded by Ayesha H., Tealights and Roses serviced Muslim communities of New York City from the millennium to the 2020’s. Ignited by her creative spirit, Ayesha transformed space into tasteful Islamic and secular celebratory landscapes. On May 30, 2026, Ayesha returns to present The Harlem Renaissance Teatime Celebration of Life and Women’s Cancer Awareness. This affair which captures the Harlem Renaissance theme to promote gynecological cancer awareness is female exclusive for ages 12 and up. So join us at this historic Harlem styled affair to celebrate your Eid ul-Adha, Mother’s Day or other special occasion. Festivities includes refreshments, medical and cancer-recovery speakers, performing artists, game and craft activities and prize for best Harlem Renaissance apparel.
