We are delighted to be bringing Happy Days Are Here Again to The Redgrave Theatre, Bristol.The show includes a tribute to the late Dame Vera Lynn, the Nations’ Sweetheart, with songs including ‘When the Lights Go on Again’ , ‘A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square’, ‘I’ll Be Seeing You’ and of course ‘The White Cliffs of Dover’. We can ‘Meet The Gang’ as we take you back to the ENSA concert party days, with songs from Arthur Askey, Gracie Fields and Flanagan and Allen to name a few.
There is a good old fashioned knees up where you can singalong to ‘Roll Out the Barrel’, ‘Side by Side’, ‘Let’s All Go Down the Strand’, ‘Knees Up Mother Brown’ and ‘Lambeth Walk’, among others.
We will pay a respectful tribute to our Fallen Heroes, and there is a flag waving Last Night of the Proms Finale, including ‘Land of Hope and Glory’, ‘Rule Britannia’ and ‘There’ll Always Be An England’.
