Happiness Habits 613 is beyond thrilled to fill your Sunday (OMG it's our last Sunday in February!) afternoon with movement, music and community:

It's our first chance in 2026 for Happiness Habits 613 to join in on the amazing Capital Sessions at the National Arts Centre!
Join Ottawa's very own DJ Del Pilar and dancer Pat Leonard of the Flava Factory and a few special guest dance stars as we learn some great dance moves! Bring your boogie shoes and let’s have a Sunday Funday together! Two solid hours of deep soulful house jams.
The instruction is visual (no screaming 1-2-3-4) and the class portion is optional, you can do you, or learn some steps! You can hang out, there's seating, an awesome cafe, great family-friendly house music and an awesome community vibe. It's a rare chance to learn some house dance steps from a great dancer and hear the freshest new global house music played by a world-class DJ on a great soundsystem!
Capital Sessions: This is a community house dance practice where they share their love of house dance & feature different DJs and dancers! The music is soulful house from the 4 corners of the globe and the guest dancers come in to share and teach some basics from their movement repertoire. Dance instruction and open practice time … no experience necessary! Thank you Rise & Sarah for organizing it all.
Happiness Habits 613: We are a grassroots group in Ottawa-Gatineau created in 2015 that cultivates healthy habits in the community through the 9 Pillars of Happiness.
