This large scale work is divided into three parts: the prophecies and birth of the Messiah, Christ's suffering and ressurection, and the Day of Judgement. While often associated with Christmas, the oratorio's narrative covers the Christian Lent and Easter stories and includes the iconic 'Hallelujah' chorus, all accompanied by William Campbell on the Cathedral Organ, and conducted by Geoffrey Woollatt.
