Learn to use the best tools a potter has - their hands. In this beginner course, you will learn all the basic clay building techniques to form pottery without the need of a wheel. Handbuilding allows a ceramic artist to hand-form whatever they desire including bowls, platters, vases, and more. Learn pinch pots, coil pots, slab building, and more!

Handbuilding 101 is a beginner-level class - No prior clay experience required! We welcome all beginners, or those looking for a refresher course in handbuilding.
