About this Event
Tracing Experience is a practice-based presentation developed by Han Qin, grounded in her artistic methodology and workshop-based practice. It will take place from May 4 to May 16, 2026 at MEMOR Museum.
The project begins from an unfinished studio condition, engaging with themes of migration, identity, and social phenomena. Starting from personal experience, the artist works across video, painting, installation, and material experimentation, integrating historical archives and scientific inquiry into an experimental visual language.
Within this process, artistic experience moves through fragmented moments of time and space, shifting, dissolving, and reconfiguring before gradually taking form as traces that can be shared and reinterpreted.
The workshop functions as the most condensed unit of this methodology, distilling over a decade of teaching experience into a two-hour participatory session. Through direct engagement, participants are invited to sense how intention and material interact and transform within the process of making.
