About this Event

Children’s Pottery Workshop (Ages 6–11)
With Optional Parent Support
A joyful, hands-on pottery workshop designed especially for junior school–aged children, where young makers can explore clay, creativity and confidence in a calm, nurturing studio environment.
Children will be guided through simple hand-building pottery techniques, encouraged to experiment, express themselves and create their own unique ceramic piece to take home.
Parents and carers are very welcome to stay and support their child, particularly for younger children or those who may benefit from gentle encouragement. To ensure the session remains fully child-focused, adults attend in a supporting role only and do not create their own pottery during the workshop.

What’s Included
• Guided pottery session led by a professional ceramic artist
• All clay, tools and materials
• Aprons and protective equipment
• Firing of one finished ceramic piece per child
• Calm, creative studio setting in the heart of the beautiful Lanes

Our Approach
Sessions are led by our resident artists, all safeguarding trained and experienced in wellbeing-led creative practice, creating a calm, supportive and inspiring environment where children can feel safe, confident and creatively free.

Session Format
• Ages 6–11 (junior school age)
• Parent / carer support welcome
• Adults attend as helpers, not makers
