What a long, strange trip it'll be — right into the nave of the historic Cathedral of the Incarnation in Garden City, NY.
Building on the vibe of last spring's incredible "Us and Floyd" Pink Floyd Tribute Band show under the Museum of the Moon, this April you'll experience an unforgettable evening with live music by "Half Step," one of the Northeast's premier Grateful Dead tribute bands, this time performing beneath artist Luke Jerram's breathtaking 20-foot illuminated sculpture Gaia, slowly rotating high above you in the cathedral nave. Let the music play on as the Earth turns overhead and the sounds of the Dead fill this magnificent sacred space in a way Jerry and the boys would have appreciated.
This is not your usual venue. This is not your usual show. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience where the music, the moment, and the cosmic beauty of Gaia come together for one night only.
Plus, as part of your admission, enjoy samplings from local Long Island breweries - the Cathedral's Second Annual Brewery Festival - taking place over the course of the "This Fragile Earth, Our Island Home" Gaia residency!

All proceeds benefit the Historic Stewart Buildings Fund, dedicated to preserving the historical and architectural heritage of the buildings on the Cathedral campus in Garden City.
