Art workshop & gentle yoga(Please bring your own yoga mat and a blanket)
On this special day, we will combine the therapeutic benefits of mandala art with a relaxing yoga practice in the magical atmosphere of the Firepit, a unique art gallery located just a few steps from the River Thames.
Program of the day:
2:00 pm: Mindfullness Art Workshop
Painting a mandala is a relaxing practice that helps to stay in the present moment .The technique does not require specific skills, it is easy to learn and accessible to everyone.
Jenny will guide you on the process, we will start initially to practice the technique on paper and when you feel ready we will move into painting onto the mug.You will learn how to paint a beautiful mandala mug to take home with you.
All the material for the workshop are provided.
3:30 pm: Tea break
4:00 pm: Yoga class — designed for relaxation, stress relief, and helping you unwind. Whether you’re new to yoga or simply looking to slow down and reconnect, the class is accessible to all adults, regardless of age or fitness level.

Firepit is a unique space, we have a gallery of beautiful and relevant art, artist studio spaces and a community event space. We will hold the workshop on a large communal table, next to the windows. You are in the heart of the gallery here and are surrounded by inspirational art.
