Haitian Flag Day Soup Joumou Contest

Come join us in person to celebrate Haitian Flag Day with a fun and tasty Soup Joumou Contest! Participants must bring their soup already prepared for people to taste. Show off your cooking skills or just enjoy sampling delicious versions of this traditional dish. Winners will receive prizes and training support to help them obtain a food handler’s license. The selected winner will also have the opportunity to prepare meals for future organizational events and to receive compensation for providing Soup Joumou and other Haitian-Caribbean cuisine. It’s a great chance to connect, celebrate Haitian culture, and enjoy some friendly competition. Don’t miss out on this flavorful event!
