About this Event
Hairgel is the satire telling of a young Andrea Beaudilaire, who has just got into the drama school of her dreams! Only to find that the realities for a black working class girl like her, is anything but. With the class' upcoming production of 'Hairgel' (Hairspray parody), can she find the courage that it takes to make it into the wonderful world of musical theatre?
Written and Directed by Megan Mabilleau, this two-act spectacle will be her directorial debut after 16 years of professional acting. All parody lyrics, choreography, and love put into this has been at the creative devising hands of the entire cast and company of new and upcoming theatre company Maison De La Folie, a theatre that embraces chaos at the door!
