About this Event
If you run a business, are starting one, or are thinking of it, the decisions made in the Senedd affect you.
Small businesses power our high streets, create jobs and shape our communities. Yet too often the voices of entrepreneurs are missing from political conversations.
This hustings brings together local entrepreneurs and Senedd election candidates from across the Gŵyr Abertawe constituency for a conversation about the challenges facing small businesses and what support is needed for them to thrive.
It is an opportunity to ask questions, share your experiences and hear directly from candidates about how they plan to support small businesses and represent entrepreneurs in the Senedd.
During the event we will also introduce Small Business Voices Wales Manifesto, whichhighlights key priorities raised by entrepreneurs and business owners across Wales.

- Welcome and introduction to Small Business Voices Wales
- Candidate introductions
- A moderated Q&A session from the audience with Senedd election candidates
- Informal networking after the discussion
Important Information
• The event is free to attend and is intended primarily for entrepreneurs, small business owners and those with an interest in the local business community.
• Places are limited, so early booking is recommended.
• Attendees are welcome to submit questions for candidates in advance until 1 April 2026.
• The event will be photographed and filmed for documentation and promotional purposes. By booking a ticket, you consent to being included in this material. If you would prefer not to appear in any photographs or recordings, please contact the organisers in advance.
• This event is non-partisan and politically impartial. All confirmed candidates standing in the Gŵyr Abertawe constituency have been invited to participate. The event is intended to provide an open and balanced opportunity for candidates to engage with members of the local business community.
How to Take Part
1. Register your place via Eventbrite
2. (Optional) Submit a question for candidates during checkout
3. On the day, please arrive from 5:40pm for registration
4. The event will begin promptly at 6:00pm
