About this Event
This is an introductory clinic covering the fundamental skills and systems used for cleaning routes and descending efficiently. Learn how to properly and safely clip in, retrieve your sport anchor and gear, and get lowered back down to the ground, all while staying on belay. Did you know this method is statistically safer than rappelling?
Who This Clinic Is For: Climbers looking to transition from indoor climbing to outdoor climbing and to build confidence in cleaning the gear and lowering down to the ground.
Pre-requisites: Comfortable top rope climbing and belaying experience. Prior exposure to anchor systems is recommended but not required.
