About this Event
We will be crafting our own pocket shrines from recycled textiles, felts, beads and charms. Pocket shrines are small, personal altars that can serve as sacred spaces for personal devotion. You could devote your shrine to your favourite artists, musicians, hobbies, the things that you love most. Please feel free to bring your own photos, cut-outs, and charms with you to include however all materials will be provided.
The Studio at GoMA is situated on the top floor of the building and is accessible via lift and stairs. There is a quiet space nearby and accessible toilets on the same level. Drinks and snacks will be provided during the session. We hope to see you there!
