On Saturday 4th July, Chepstow Town Council is organising a Fun Festival in Chepstow called Gwyl Hwyl Casgwent; This will be a festival focused on Welsh music, dance, written word, crafts, language, food and drink. In May 2027, the Urdd Eisteddfod @eisteddfodurdd, the Eisteddfod for young people, is coming to Newport. Our festival, Gwyl Hwyl Cas-Gwent will be a taster for that event. Taking place at venues throughout the town, there will be something for everyone.
We are looking for stall holders, community groups and volunteers. Please contact Chepstow Town Council if you would like to be involved!
