About this Event
Gum Moon, sponsored by the San Francisco Department of Early Childhood, is hosting a mural painting event led by local artist Corey a.k.a. Sidy Illustration.
- Corey will lead 6 x 2-hour classes every Friday for 6 consecutive weeks from 2-4 pm, beginning February 23rd and ending on March 29th.
- The event aims to highlight the significance of murals in community engagement.
- Corey will guide 60 participants (30 children aged 6-18 and 30 parents) in painting Gum Moon's mural using his design.
The culmination will be the mounting of the completed mural in early April, symbolizing community collaboration and artistic expression.
Participation in this mural painting event is limited to 30 children aged 6-18 and 30 parents, so it's essential to sign up as soon as possible to secure your spot. Please note that a six-week commitment is required for participation in this project.
