Guided Wine Tasting & Winery Tour

We are hosting our first guided wine tasting at our Winery in Sunny St. James! 

What to expect: 

Shrugging Doctor maintains the first and only commercial wine vineyard in Manitoba on our scenic Pembina Valley farm. For the first time, we are opening up our Winnipeg location for a guided tour so you can see how the wine is made! 

Each ticket includes 5 glasses of wine, or a "wine flight" which has been curated from our selection of grape wines, fruit wines, mead, sangria and ciders by our Master Winemaker. 

As we enjoy the wine, Co-Founder Willows Christopher will explain each beverage. How it's made, the tasting notes, and the process of making it from grape to bottle. Speaking of process, we will then move into our winery production area where you will be given a tour of the production process and winemaking equipment. 

After the tour, additional wine and food may be purchased. Although light snacks will be provided during the event. 

Expect the event to take no longer than 3 hours in total, depending on how fast you can drink! 

To keep this event intimate, we will be limiting the amount of tickets. So act fast!

They maintain Manitoba’s very first Vineyard in the Southern Pembina Valley and make all the wine at their Winery in Winnipeg’s Sunny St. James Neighbourhood.
