About this Event
Celebrate Peterborough’s vibrant street art scene with a free guided walking tour showcasing the city centre’s growing collection of artwork. Led by renowned local artists Nathan Murdoch and Tony Nero, alongside Peterborough Civic Society and Peterborough Positive, the tours offer a unique behind-the-scenes insight into some of the city centre’s eye-catching artworks.
Along the way, you’ll discover why particular designs were chosen, hear directly from the artists about their creative process, and uncover the rich history woven into Peterborough’s streets.
The tours take place at 10.45am on Saturday 28 February and Saturday 25 April, starting and finishing at Peterborough Museum and Art Gallery.
Each tour includes a stop for a light lunch at Bijou, with the opportunity to enjoy a relaxed Q&A with the artists.
Both tours are free to attend, but booking is essential.
Accessibility information: The tour route is approximately 2.6 miles. Some areas are accessed via steps; however, lifts are available along the route. Please note that lift access is subject to them being operational on the day.
